Reproduction WWII German Enigma Machine Bearing Block set

Description

For sale is a reproduction of a bearing block set (right and left bearing block) for the WWII German Enigma machine.  The set is made up of 5052 aluminum, and has been powder coated Black Diamond.  The bearing blocks are incomplete, since both are missing the protection sheet piece, although the holes are there for that piece; and the left bearing block is missing the shaft holder:  again, the three holes for the shaft holder are present.  The protection sheet and the shaft holder have not been manufactured yet.  You will notice in picture #3 for the left bearing block there is a silver lug, with two tiny 2*5mm screws, and the space for the lug.  When I had the bearing blocks powder coated I made the space for the lug smaller, so you will have to take very fine grade sandpaper and carefully sand the lug until it fits in the slot.  Then you can attach the lug with the tiny screws.  The lug serves as an attachment point for the spring that is attached to the roll retainer.  The set is composed of: left and right bearing blocks; left bearing block lug; 2 x tiny screws for the lug; 3 x screws and nuts for attaching the left bearing block to the L-shaped base that is part of the base plate; and 3 x screws and nuts for attaching the right bearing block to the opposite side base.  The base plate and the bearing block bases are sold separately here on Ebay.  The set weighs 6 ounces, and will be shipped via USPS first class for domestic sales, and USPS First Class International for international sales.  Photos courtesy Toadjumper Militaria.
